My dad & I went to Ikea today to replace the glass that broke so suddenly & "SHOCK" in my room yesterday. When I reach Ikea, I went straight to the customer service counter & took a number waiting to be called. I told the staff at the counter that the side glass of the DETOLF glass board that i bought at Ikea was broke. I show him the receipt of the glass board and then my dad explain how it broke to the staff. My dad said he hold the glass ready to put it in the board then the glass suddenly broke. It's very weird, he didn't fell it on the floor or knock it. I saw this just in front of my eyes, it's really weird. We showed the photo of broken glass to the staff at the counter, we want Ikea to replace a new side glass to us and explain why this will happen, but the staff didn't answered our question. He just walked in to the store room and brought a side glass and put it on the counter. He then said wanted to charge us for this new side glass. Wat the @#$%&*% !!! My dad & I getting angry, why we should pay for the glass ??? The side glass of the DETOLF glass board broke itself, it was defective, it was not our fault. And the broken glass hurt my leg too. So they should replace a new side glass for us free. My dad & I said all this to the staff, and you know what the staff showed us... he showed us his face that darker than sh*t... and his facial expression showed that he was not happy with our request, & he showed some bad attitude and bad facial expression. He then walked in to the store room and discussed with his supervisor or store manager. After a while, he came out and said that they "won't charge us" for the new side glass and sound like they were not willing to give us. What !!! won't charge us.... they are suppose replace the defective glass with a new one, where is their responsibility for the product ??? What they said now sound like we broke the glass ourselves, and we force them to replace a new one. Wat the @#$*&#% !!! Your product is defective, so you are responsible to replace it. I'm really dissatisfied with Ikea's customer service, they are not friendly and even showed some bad attitude.
